“AnyList makes shared grocery lists simple and intuitive.” -Lifehacker
#Anylist mac app free
Changes show up instantly on everyone’s iPhone or iPad.ĪnyList has been featured in the App Store as “New and Noteworthy”, a “Great Free App”, and one of “10 Essential” productivity apps. Easily share a list with your spouse or roommates, for free. For example, to add Olive Oil, you could just type "ol" and pick the Olive Oil suggestion, compared to bringing up a camera and pointing it at a barcode.AnyList is the best way to create grocery shopping lists and collect and organize your recipes. Since most people tend to shop for the same things on a regular basis (e.g., Milk, Bread, etc.) is it often quicker and easier to just start typing the item name than to scan a barcode. But you'll probably find that many of the items you scan aren't recognized, and that the data is messy and not very uniform.ĪnyList remembers items that you've added previously and offers them as auto-complete suggestions. That shortcut could be adapted to add to AnyList instead, using our "Add to List" shortcut action. For example, here is a shortcut that scans barcodes and add items to Reminders: If you're willing to deal with numerous limitations, then you can use a Siri shortcut to scan barcodes and add items to AnyList. Of course, the more expensive databases tend to be more complete, but even then there are huge holes in them. Many of them do not include items from Trader Joe's and store brand items, for example.
#Anylist mac app update
Developer has a new fork of this app with more features, Ikiru.ĪDD: looks like the latest Paperless update has fixed the font color issue.ĭatabases of product information tend to be expensive, incomplete, or most often, both. Had a bug with iOS 13 and font colors, but looks like new version pushed out a week ago that might have fixed that (will test tomorrow).

Lots of bells and whistles: big list of icons for lists, options to add at beginning or end of list, duplicate lists, cloud sync between iOS devices, check marks or not. Previously, using an app called Paperless.

Delete item on iOS, deleted on all iOS devices.
#Anylist mac app plus
Plus stumbled on, I think, a bug on Mac side: Does not play well with my 3rd party calendar/reminder app (Fantastical): things like grocery lists show up there when I don't want them there. Been doing this since iOS 13 and Catalina.
